An “extraordinary” Leeds United player sees himself playing in the Premier League. Farke was commended

Joe Rodon, a defender for Leeds United on loan, has made a significant intimation that he may plan to remain at Elland Road for the long haul.

In August, the Tottenham Hotspur center back signed a season-long loan agreement with the Whites, and less than 48 hours after signing the contract, he made his debut as a late substitution in a 1-0 loss at Birmingham City. After a lackluster debut with Daniel Farke’s team, Rodon has developed into a vital member of the Whites’ campaign to return to the Premier League via promotion.

Rodon has now made 36 appearances this season after playing the full 90 minutes of Saturday’s home draw against Huddersfield Town. He will be crucial to Farke’s efforts to lead Leeds to victory in what will be a tight final quarter of the season.

Rodon is now scheduled to return to Spurs at the end of the year, but in a recent interview with Welsh publication Sgorio, the 26-year-old hinted that he would be willing to stay at Elland Road.

The defender stated, “Just playing is what everyone wants, of course, but I think all of us together, I think it would be a really nice kind of journey if we did get there (the Premier League),” while seated next to Leeds and Wales teammates Daniel James, Ethan Ampadu, and Connor Roberts. All of the trips we’ve taken have brought us to this point. I simply believe that having all of us play together in the Premier League would be fantastic for the group as a whole.

Andy Hinchcliffe, a former defender for Sheffield Wednesday and Everton, has lauded Daniel Farke’s effect since taking over as Leeds United manager in the summer.

After the Whites were relegated from the top tier the previous season, the former Norwich City manager was given the responsibility of getting them back into the Premier League at the first opportunity. Sky Sports pundit Hinchcliffe has praised Farke for leading the team to within striking distance of the automatic promotion spots after overseeing something of a rebuild of the squad he inherited.

“The job he’s done at Leeds this season, extraordinary,” he said to Sky Sports. Recall that they had recently been demoted. Following their relegation, a large number of Premier League players left the team. It was really tough for him to even sort out the team and know which players he had available. But they never really looked back when it was resolved and he was able to leave his mark on the team.
