Brighton Transfer News: Coppola Deal Imminent
Brighton are set to complete the signing of Italian defender Diego Coppola this week after agreeing a £10m deal with Hellas Verona. The 21-year-old, who made 34 Serie A appearances last season, is expected to undergo his medical following international duty with Italy.
Coppola, recently linked with Aston Villa and Tottenham, made his senior Italy debut in their World Cup qualifier against Norway. Fabrizio Romano confirmed the move, stating: “€10m plus add-ons… deal in place as first revealed in May.”
