Brighton open to summer offers for player – €30m price tag, strong interest expected

Brighton & Hove Albion are prepared to entertain offers for Julio Enciso this summer, with a price tag of around €30m for a permanent transfer.

According to journalist Christian Martin, speaking to Versus, the midfielder will likely be put up for sale after completing his loan spell at Ipswich Town.

Enciso moved to Kieran McKenna’s side in January after falling out of favor under Fabian Hurzeler. While he has been a regular for Ipswich, a permanent move seems unlikely, especially if the club is relegated to the Championship.

With just a year left on his contract, Enciso and Brighton face a key decision. Unless he signs a new deal, the club may look to sell him rather than risk losing him on a free transfer next summer. From January, he would be eligible to negotiate a pre-contract agreement elsewhere.

To avoid that scenario, Martin believes Brighton will actively seek buyers in the coming months.

“Brighton will listen to offers for Julio,” he said. “His dream is to play for Barcelona one day, but Brighton are smart negotiators.

“I think they’ll let him go for around €30m, which is a fair price for a player of his quality. He’ll have offers from the Premier League, Italy, and maybe even Spain. If he doesn’t renew, Brighton won’t wait—they’ll look to sell in July.”
