It’s starting to feel like déjà vu for West Ham, as the club once again finds itself battling familiar rivals—and even former manager David Moyes—in the transfer market.
This time, the focus is on Hamza Igamane, the Moroccan striker who joined Rangers from AS FAR for just £1.7 million last summer. After a strong debut season, the 22-year-old is now attracting attention from clubs across Europe.
In France, Ligue 1 sides like Lille are reportedly interested as they prepare for a possible departure of Jonathan David. Back in England, it’s a familiar triangle: West Ham, Everton, and Leeds United are all said to be tracking Igamane closely.
The striker is valued at around £13 million—a fee that may suit Everton, especially with Dominic Calvert-Lewin expected to leave. West Ham, on the other hand, seem to be stuck in their usual slow-moving transfer approach.
Although Rangers are hesitant to sell, the potential profit could prove too tempting. Igamane would bring energy and goal-scoring potential, but questions remain over whether a “promising” forward is enough to lead the line next season.
