Aston Villa plan to cash in on the player after last year’s strategy proved successful.

Aston Villa are planning to cash in on Enzo Barrenechea this summer, placing a minimum €10 million price tag on the midfielder.

According to El Desmarque, Barrenechea’s successful loan spell at Valencia has increased his market value, prompting Villa to consider a permanent sale rather than another loan. While a final decision hasn’t been made, signs point to his departure.

The club is looking to raise funds after missing out on Champions League qualification, and offloading players not in Unai Emery’s plans—like Barrenechea—will help restructure the squad and support their financial goals.
