‘Newcastle plot move to sign a super talented player after transfer mission’

As Eddie Howe looks to expand his attacking options, Newcastle United is preparing a bid to recruit Samu Omorodion, a striker for Porto.

The Magpies’ scouts have been monitoring the 21-year-old, according to former Man United and Sunderland senior scout Mick Brown, who is still very well-connected in the game, in an exclusive interview with Football Insider.

The forward’s performances both domestically and in Europe have garnered interest from a number of Premier League clubs this summer. Football Insider revealed in March that Newcastle might buy Omorodion for less than his £82.5million release clause, although he will still cost a “huge” price.

Despite growing confidence that Alexander Isak will stay, the Magpies are weighing their options in case he leaves; nevertheless, any transaction will not be contingent on the Swede’s future. In February, Brown informed Football Insider that Howe is eager to bring in a top-tier replacement for Callum Wilson, who will depart Newcastle when his contract expires.

Newcastle plans to move Samu Omorodion following Joao Pedro’s update.

On May 31, Brown told Football Insider that Howe wants to bolster his team with a second center-forward, and Newcastle wants to pursue Brighton’s Joao Pedro. After more than ten years at Manchester United during their most successful era, the former scout, who possesses extensive experience in recruiting elite players, has stated that Omorodion is also on their list of ambitious objectives this summer. “Newcastle is evaluating several options,” he told Football Insider.

“Eddie Howe wants to sign a new striker because Callum Wilson is leaving, not just in case Isak leaves because they are sure he will stay.” To offer them more options, they would like to add another elite forward. Their scouts have been working diligently, but there aren’t many of those available. “Porto’s Samu, who has excelled in Portugal and Europe, is one player they are considering.

Clubs will have noticed that he scored a few goals against Manchester United. “Newcastle has been monitoring him and his performances, and they will make a decision about whether or not to move for him.”

An update on Mohammed Kudus follows the most recent West Ham

The signing of a new striker is not the only target for Newcastle this summer, as they are also exploring a move to recruit a new right-winger. After missing out on Bryan Mbeumo, who appears certain to join Manchester United, Newcastle wants to sign Mohammed Kudus, according to a report published by Football Insider on June 1.

The 24-year-old Kudus has become a target for several Premier League teams this summer and may be permitted to leave West Ham for less than his release clause. On May 31, Football Insider exclusively disclosed that, should Newcastle decide to make a move this summer, Kudus might be acquired at a reduced cost.
