Brighton & Hove Albion and Borussia Dortmund are both eyeing a move for FC Nordsjælland midfielder Mario Dorgelès this summer, according to Africa Foot.

Arsenal and Chelsea battle it out for 'next Mikel' as six Premier League clubs track midfielder - football.london

The 20-year-old Ivorian, who joined the Danish club from Ghana’s Right to Dream academy in 2022, is under contract until 2027. While he mainly plays centrally, Dorgelès can also operate on the left wing. This season, he scored two goals and provided four assists in 31 appearances.

His versatility, ability to win the ball, and knack for creating chances have made him an appealing prospect. Brighton and Dortmund, both known for developing young talents, are the only two clubs mentioned as suitors.

Transfermarkt values Dorgelès at €3.5m, but Nordsjælland are expected to demand more. The player is likely to leave, but any move will require a strong effort not just financially, but also in convincing him to join. Brighton, under new boss Fabian Hürzeler, will need to act decisively if they want to win this transfer battle.
