Forest vs Everton: Team news ahead of Premier League clash at the City Ground.
Everton continue their challenging run of fixtures with a trip to face Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Saturday (3pm BST).
David Moyes has guided the Toffees safely away from relegation worries, losing just two of his 11 games since returning as manager. Now 15 points above the drop zone, Everton aren’t mathematically safe but Moyes is confident enough to look ahead to visiting the new Bramley-Moore Dock stadium. Still, he remains focused on maintaining high standards and pushing the club back towards European contention.
After a narrow 1-0 defeat to league leaders Liverpool, Everton secured a 1-1 draw against second-placed Arsenal. Moyes was pleased with both performances and is now looking forward to facing third-placed Forest.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s Forest side have been one of the season’s surprise packages but still have work to do to secure a Champions League spot. They head into the match after a 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa.
