Newcastle United are stepping up their pursuit of Fiorentina striker Moise Kean, pulling ahead of rivals Tottenham and Arsenal in the race for his signature.
Kean is enjoying a standout season in Serie A, scoring 17 goals — the best tally of his career so far. His impressive form and a €52 million release clause have drawn interest from several top clubs, including Newcastle.
According to Calciomercato, Fiorentina are open to considering summer offers but are also working on a new contract for Kean, hoping to remove the current release clause in the process.
The report adds that Newcastle have already made the *first direct contact* with Kean’s camp, giving them an edge, while Spurs and Arsenal remain in the background.
Although Barcelona and Napoli are also interested, Kean could be tempted by a return to the Premier League. Any Newcastle move, however, may hinge on the future of Alexander Isak.
