Newcastle United will soon confirm a pre-season tour in Singapore and South Korea.
With just nine games left in the 2024/25 season, Newcastle United are already looking ahead to their summer plans. Following last year’s pre-season tour of Japan, the club is set for another trip to Asia.
Newcastle’s owners, PIF, continue to push for global expansion, with major sponsorship deals like Adidas and Sela helping raise the club’s profile. Now, a high-profile pre-season tour is in the works.
Tonali Could Face AC Milan
Sandro Tonali has been missed by AC Milan fans since his move to Newcastle. While rumors of a return to Italy have been dismissed, he may still reunite with his former club sooner than expected.

Newcastle are set to tour Singapore and South Korea, and reports suggest AC Milan will also be in the region. This could set up a pre-season clash between the two sides. Liverpool and Arsenal will also be touring Asia, making them potential opponents as well.
Historic Return to Singapore
While this would be Newcastle’s first trip to South Korea, they have history in Singapore. In 1996, during a tour under Kevin Keegan, the club made headlines by breaking the world transfer record with Alan Shearer’s £15 million signing.
With Newcastle expected to invest heavily in their squad this summer, their time in Asia could see the arrival of new signings. The tour is also set to be the club’s most lucrative ever, helping ease concerns over Premier League financial rules.
