Alabama Football reveals 2025 A-Day changes.

The Crimson Tide will welcome fans to Bryant-Denny for a spring exhibition, but with some changes from previous years.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama Football has announced changes to its upcoming A-Day event, set for Saturday, April 12, at 12 p.m. CT inside Bryant-Denny Stadium. The event remains free for fans but will feature a different format than in previous years.

Instead of the traditional spring game, the Crimson Tide will hold a 90-minute practice in front of the crowd. Following the session, members of “Yea Alabama” will have the opportunity to participate in an on-field autograph session with players.

A-Day will be a busy day across campus, with multiple events taking place. The football team’s spring finale coincides with the TIDE PRIDE Breakfast at Coleman Coliseum, the Walk of Champions Ceremony at 10 a.m., and several other athletic events. Alabama baseball will face Mississippi State at 2 p.m., softball will take on Oklahoma at 2:30 p.m., and the track team will host the Crimson Tide Invitational.

This marks the second consecutive year that Alabama’s A-Day format has deviated from tradition. In 2024, head coach Kalen DeBoer introduced an offense-versus-defense scrimmage with a unique scoring system. This year’s shift aligns with a broader trend in college football, where several programs have adjusted or canceled spring games due to concerns over player tampering and injury risks.

Alabama has also announced that multiple players will be sidelined this spring due to injuries, which likely influenced the decision to modify A-Day while still allowing fans to experience the program.
