Victor Osimhen sets transfer deadline after making Man Utd’s five-man shortlist.

Victor Osimhen, who joined Galatasaray on loan this season, could be on the move again this summer and has promised to inform the club of his decision next month.

Victor Osimhen to Decide Future in April Amid Transfer Interest

Victor Osimhen is set to inform Galatasaray of his future plans in April, as uncertainty grows over where he will play next season. The Nigerian striker joined the Turkish club on loan last summer after failing to secure a permanent move away from Napoli.

Chelsea had been a potential destination in August, but a deal fell through. With Napoli signing Romelu Lukaku, Osimhen’s future at the Italian club became unclear, despite his contract running until 2026. This season, Osimhen has continued to shine, scoring 26 goals in 30 appearances, ensuring he remains a top target for clubs worldwide.

Galatasaray vice-president Abdullah Kavukcu revealed that Osimhen will clarify his plans this month, acknowledging that the world’s biggest clubs are already circling. “Osimhen will inform us of his decision in April,” Kavukcu said. “At the moment, the top five clubs in the world have also shown interest in him.”

Kavukcu admitted it will be challenging to keep Osimhen, calling his arrival a “dream come true” and praising his impact at the club. “He loves Galatasaray, but he is the player all our rivals would like to have,” he added.

Osimhen has reportedly made Manchester United’s transfer shortlist, alongside Benjamin Sesko, Viktor Gyokeres, Hugo Ekitike, and Liam Delap. Napoli’s sporting director, Giovanni Manna, has emphasized the club’s desire to resolve Osimhen’s future quickly, avoiding a repeat of last summer’s prolonged negotiations.
