Nottingham Forest eye £25m midfielder as transfer stance revealed.

Latest Nottingham Forest transfer updates as Nuno Espirito Santo’s Reds prepare for a crucial summer window.

Nottingham Forest Eye AC Milan’s Yunus Musah for Summer Move

AC Milan's Yunus Musah has been linked with Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest are reportedly interested in signing versatile AC Milan midfielder Yunus Musah ahead of the summer transfer window. The Reds, currently sitting third in the Premier League under Nuno Espirito Santo, are aiming high this season, with Champions League qualification a real possibility. Regardless of how the campaign ends, Forest are already planning squad changes for the 2025/26 season, and Musah has emerged as a potential target.

According to MilanLive, Forest are among several clubs to have “shown interest” in the 22-year-old, with Premier League rivals Aston Villa, Newcastle United, and West Ham United also monitoring his situation. Musah, who joined Milan from Valencia two years ago, has been a regular for the Italian side, featuring both in central midfield and on the wing. However, his future at Milan appears uncertain, with speculation suggesting he could be on the move soon.

Musah’s Price Tag and Forest’s Previous Interest

The USA international, who previously represented England at youth level, is said to have a price tag of around €30 million (£25m). Reports suggest that an offer slightly below that figure could be enough to secure his signature. Forest have been linked with Musah before, first during his time at Valencia in 2022, shortly after their promotion to the Premier League, and again in January 2023.

Nuno Espirito Santo values players who can adapt to multiple positions, as he prefers working with a compact squad. While Forest are well-stocked in central midfield, they have already been linked with several midfielders as they prepare to evaluate their options this summer. Musah’s versatility and experience make him an attractive prospect as Forest look to strengthen their squad for the challenges ahead.
