RB Leipzig have set their sights on Club Brugge full-back Maxim De Cuyper as he looks to make a career move this summer, according to Sacha Tavolieri.
The 24-year-old has drawn interest from both Italy and Germany. AC Milan view him as a potential replacement for Theo Hernandez if the Frenchman departs in the summer.
Leipzig reportedly have De Cuyper at the top of their left-back wishlist due to their lack of depth behind David Raum, whose injury this season exposed their weakness in the position. The Belgian defender is under contract at Brugge until 2028 and is expected to cost around €20m.
Leipzig already have ties to Club Brugge, with Loïs Openda and Antonio Nusa previously playing for the Belgian club before joining the Bundesliga side. However, both players, along with Leipzig as a whole, have struggled this season.
