Southampton make tough call on struggling Ivan Juric.

Southampton have decided to part ways with Ivan Juric at the end of the season, cutting short his tenure after less than a full campaign in charge.

Southampton have decided to part ways with manager Ivan Juric at the end of the season, following a disappointing tenure that failed to deliver results. Since joining St Mary’s Stadium late last year, Juric has struggled to make an impact, leaving the club in a similar—if not worse—position than when Russell Martin was in charge.

According to The Sun, Southampton will activate a break clause in Juric’s contract, allowing them to replace him. The leading candidate is Danny Rohl, the current Sheffield Wednesday manager, who previously worked as a coach at Southampton. Rohl’s familiarity with the club and Championship experience make him a logical choice to lead the Saints forward.

While it may seem harsh to dismiss Juric after less than a full season, Southampton cannot afford to delay the inevitable. The club made the tough but necessary decision to sack Martin earlier, and now they must act decisively again. Juric, who has found success in Italy, may return there to rebuild his reputation. For Southampton, the focus is on securing a manager who can guide them back to success in the Championship.
