Compared to Tim Walter earlier in the season, REGIS LE BRIS believes Hull City is a different threat under their current manager, Ruben Selles.
When Wilson Isidor’s goal gave Sunderland a 1-0 victory at the MKM Stadium in mid-October, Walter was the Tigers’ manager.
That was one of Walters’ last games as manager; Hull decided to change managers in late November, and Selles was hired as a result.
With his team currently in 21st place ahead of their noon trip to the Stadium of Light, the former Southampton and Reading player has been tasked with keeping Hull in the Championship. Compared to his predecessor, he has a tendency to take a more conservative and safety-first approach.
