Nick Pope Expected to Return

For the first time since their defeat to Brentford in December, Nick Pope could be back in goal.

The £10 million goalkeeper has missed 10 games due to a knee injury but has been on the bench for Newcastle’s last three matches. With squad rotation expected, Pope may replace Martin Dubravka in goal for this encounter.

There could also be adjustments in defense, with Tino Livramento and Matt Targett possibly stepping in for Kieran Trippier and Lewis Hall as Newcastle shifts to a four-man backline.
