Leeds announces a sell-on clause in their free defender transfer.

Jeremiah Chilokoa-Mullen, a youth player for Leeds United, has signed a free move to Dunfermline Athletic through the end of the current campaign.

The 20-year-old was signed by the Scottish Championship team on a six-month contract with the possibility of an extension.

Jeremiah Chilokoa-Mullen’s departure is confirmed by Leeds United.
It is not surprising that Scottish teams would want to sign the center-back in the winter transfer window.

How much was Leeds United target Cheikhou Kouyate earning a week at Nottingham Forest?

Prior to being sidelined for the rest of the season due to a back injury, the Scotland under-21 international spent some time on loan with Inverness Caledonian Thistle last January.

Since then, the teenage defender has returned to Elland Road, where he has already made 13 appearances this season for the academy team.
Chilokoa-Mullen has now made the permanent move away from LS11, where he hopes to play senior football on a regular basis.
Yorkshire fans won’t hold it against him since, considering the caliber of the Whites’ first team, he would have had few opportunities.

Fair play to the 20-year-old for taking the risk to move on, as opportunities for youth squad talents will always be restricted while Daniel Farke’s team pursues promotion to the Premier League.

In other Leeds United news, on the day of the deadline, David Anderson gave the final striker update at Elland Road.
