Everton are closing in on the signing of Carlos Alcaraz after agreeing to an initial loan deal with Brazilian side Flamengo. The move could become permanent if certain clauses are met, and Alcaraz is expected to play in an advanced midfield role similar to Marouane Fellaini.

Now, Beto is expected to lead the line for Everton. His recent display suggests he could finally live up to the £30m price tag Everton paid to sign him from Udinese.
