It “is not expected to be an issue” if Sunderland and Hajduk Split can agree on Nazariy Rusyn’s departure.
Under former manager Tony Mowbray, the Black Cats acquired the Ukrainian forward from Zorya Lugansk in the summer of 2023.
Rusyn has only played 66 minutes in the league this season for Regis Le Bris’ team, though, as he has struggled to establish himself in Sunderland colors.
This winter, Rusyn has been linked to a move away from Sunderland. Aberdeen was one of his pursuers, but they decided against it for budgetary concerns.
The Black Cat is currently attracting interest from Croatian team Hajduk Split, who hope to sign him during the current transfer window.
The Sunderland star Rusyn, who desires regular games, has been able to reach a personal agreement with the Croatian team.
Although the two clubs have not yet come to an agreement, this is not anticipated to be a problem.
It is unclear if Hajduk Split will be able to sign the player prior to their match against Slaven Belupo on Sunday, but they will attempt to finalize the deal as quickly as possible.
It is anticipated that the transfer will include an initial financing.
