The 49ers are expected to sign Farke’s “incredible” player, who scored against Leeds.

A report claims that Leeds United will recruit a “incredible” new forward player for Daniel Farke before the deadline.

Farke lists three areas where Leeds should improve.
The 49ers Enterprises and the Whites have not signed anyone in 2025, and their main activity is the loan departures of Charlie Crew and Joe Gelhardt.

Leeds is five points ahead of where they were at this point last season after 29 Championship games, so everything is going according to plan on the field. However, the club has until February 3rd to bolster their roster, and Farke stated that Leeds may still improve in the areas of center-forward, offensive midfielder, and center-back.

49ers set to sign "incredible" star for Farke who has scored against Leeds

We could yet take a closer look at a couple spots to see if they can help the team. However, I’m a little bit calmer now that I’m not in a panic because I have to accomplish anything.

“I believe it’s reasonable to state that our team might benefit if there is an offensive player with creativity available, such as at number 10.

“Brenden Aaronson is a vital member of our team and has performed exceptionally well this season. However, we may have a player in our group that is comparable to him. Naturally, we have athletes that are capable of filling this job.

“It makes perfect sense to stay up late if there is a way to accommodate a creative midfield player. We are covered in every other area. In my opinion, the only two [positions] we need to remain awake are center-back and maybe a little bit of striker.

Due to Patrick Bamford’s ongoing injury, Farke’s options in attack are Joel Piroe and Mateo Joseph. Sevilla striker Kelechi Iheanacho is one player who has been mentioned in passing, and it appears that a trade has gained momentum.

According to reports, Leeds is expected to recruit Kelechi Iheanacho.
Leeds is expected to sign Iheanacho prior to the transfer deadline, per a report from Score Nigeria.

Iheanacho will be able to return to England and Elland Road when Akor Adams joins Sevilla from Montpellier. Things are not going well for the former Leicester City striker in Spain, and the story makes no mention of whether the transfer will be temporary or permanent.

Former Leeds manager Victor Orta brought the 28-year-old, who has only scored once against the Whites in his career, to Sevilla, but the move hasn’t gone as planned; he has only scored three goals in 11 games.

Brendan Rodgers called Iheanacho “incredible.” He scored five goals in 23 Championship games as the Foxes won the championship, and he might be eyeing another second-tier title with Leeds in the closing months of the campaign.
