Ayman Kari, a midfielder for Paris Saint-Germain, was linked to Sunderland during the previous summer transfer window. Burnley has made a move for him.
Before the transfer market closed last summer, it looked like the midfield player might be headed to the Black Cats, but he remained at PSG and did not join Regis Le Bris’ team.
Burnley is providing Kari with an escape route to Parc des Princes after he hasn’t played a game for the French powerhouses this season.
French publication Foot Mercato claims that Burnley has made a €750,000 offer for the midfield player.
A sell-on provision, set at a significant 35%, is also included in the proposal as a sweetener.
Additionally, the Turf Moor team is willing to offer Kari a four-and-a-half-year contract.
Although Kari’s contract expires in the summer, he may be enticed to switch under freedom of contract.
Clubs in the Belgian top division are also interested in the 20-year-old, so Burnley has competition.
