The ‘Outstanding’ forward is wanted by Leeds for Daniel Farke.

According to Pete O’Rourke of Football Insider, Leeds United is apparently interested in Tyler Goodrham, a midfield jewel for Oxford United, but Sunderland, Coventry City, and Swansea City are competitors.

Goodrham has made an impression at Kassam Stadium and is an interesting prospect. This season, he has made 25 appearances in the EFL Championship, with three goals and an equal number of assists. He is a technically proficient and agile midfielder.

Interest in the 21-year-old’s services is rising along with his stock. With just over two years remaining on his contract, the young player from the Republic of Ireland is being watched by the top teams in the Championship.

Goodrham may be enticed to join a team vying for Premier League promotion, as Leeds is rumored to have set their sights on him. The Irishman has been essential since moving up the club’s youth ranks and becoming a critical member of the senior team, and Oxford, who are in a relegation struggle, will be keen to keep him.

Goodrham, who contributed significantly to Oxford’s promotion last season with eight goals and four assists in 40 games, is also admired by Sunderland, Coventry, and Swansea. Given that the ‘excellent’ High Wycombe-born midfielder can play on either wing or in attacking midfield, Daniel Farke may be interested in him due to his versatility and inventiveness.

The Saudi Pro League’s interest in Willy Gnonto raises questions about his future. Farke’s aspirations of leading Leeds back to the Premier League would be severely damaged if the Italian winger were to leave. The Peacocks have additional roster space now that Joe Gelhardt has joined Hull City on loan for the remainder of the season.

After 27 games, Leeds leads the EFL Championship, but the race for promotion is still very close. Burnley and Sunderland are chasing Farke’s team, which is one point ahead of Sheffield United, who are in second position.
