When the Celtics play the Warriors at Chase Center on Monday afternoon, they will be fully recovered. After both players missed Saturday’s loss to the Hawks, the team took Al Horford (toe sprain) and Kristaps Porzingis (injury recovery management) off the injury report for Monday’s game.
After being marked as questionable for the same game, Jayson Tatum was also taken off the injury report completely. Despite wearing the uniform, he had a poor game against Atlanta, shooting only 7 of 21 from the field during the overtime loss.

With five games in seven nights, Boston will want to start their four-game road trip off to a strong start in San Francisco, but it won’t be simple. In preparation for the 2022 NBA Finals rematch, the Celtics traveled across the nation on their day off following a back-to-back.
In order for the club to see some fatigued legs against Golden State, Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Jayson Tatum all played 43 minutes on Saturday night. However, it will be nice to see Horford and Porzingis back in the starting lineup, especially given Boston’s impressive showing against the Magic on Friday night when they were playing at full strength.
Conversely, the Warriors, who have won two straight games, will be shorthanded. Additionally declared out for the game are Brandin Podziemski (abdominal injury), Kyle Anderson (glut bursitis), Jonathan Kuminga (ankle sprain), and Draymond Green (calf sprain). After spraining his left ankle during Saturday’s victory over the Wizards, Stephen Curry is also labeled as questionable.
In the game, the Celtics will try to get revenge for their November TD Garden loss to the Warriors, which ended in a score of 118–112. Boston fell 132-126 in overtime last year and has now lost both of their regular-season games at the Chase Center.
After losing three of their previous five games, the Celtics will try to establish some continuity during their most difficult road trip of the season.
The Celtics as well as The Warriors will play a nationally broadcast game on TNT starting at 5 p.m. ET.
