As he transforms into a “different player” while on loan this season, Nectar Triantis outlines his lofty goals for Sunderland.

This season, Sunderland loanees are performing admirably, and Nectar Triantis has been an absolute success while playing for Hibernian.

Naturally, the focus is on Sunderland’s players who are still playing at the Stadium of Light this season as they aim for promotion.

Nectar Triantis, however, is putting up a strong argument to join Regis Le Bris’ team out of all the players Sunderland has on loan.

Nectar Triantis shares big Sunderland ambition as he develops into a 'different player' on loan this year

This season, the Australian has made significant improvement, and the Sunderland boss must be pleased with his player’s development.

Although Nectar Triantis enjoys his life at Hibernian, he would like to play for Sunderland.
Nectar Triantis has now been discussing his loan stint at Hibernian, his development as a player, and his future goals on the club’s official website.

“I believe that everyone can see from my performances that I am enjoying every moment with Hibs,” he remarked. I’m reaching a new level in my entire game. Compared to previous season, I feel like a different player.

Overcoming adversity has been the most difficult task. I still have a lot of maturing ahead of me, but I’m working hard to keep up this pace.

In contrast to his previous more defensive role, Triantis has moved into midfield this season and has even been scoring goals on a regular basis.

“I’ve always felt at ease playing in midfield, but the switch has been really interesting,” he continued. That independence allows me to express myself. You can play football anywhere you want when you’re having fun. As I continue to grow, the relocation has been all I could have imagined.

Despite his enjoyment of life in Scotland, Triantis maintains that he wants to play for Sunderland in the future, saying: “Sunderland is always checking in and giving me feedback.” They have been incredibly helpful in every way. I still speak with many of the boys. Leo Hjelde and Chris Rigg in particular.

“Seeing how well they’re doing doesn’t surprise me. The youthful stars will ultimately emerge when you have a bunch of players who are continuously gaining experience. I’m a huge fan of Sunderland. My club is this one. I’m concentrating on my time with Hibs for the time being, but the goal is to eventually be a regular in red and white.

If Sunderland gets promoted, Triantis won’t have a spot.
Triantis’ issue is that the Blacks are playing so well without him that there’s a possibility he won’t be included in Sunderland’s squad at the end of the season.

If Le Bris is able to get Sunderland promoted this season, that will be especially true. There wouldn’t be much space for another midfielder if Enzo Le Fee’s loan move turned into a permanent one.

In an attempt to accommodate Le Fee, Rigg, Jobe Bellingham, and his captain, Dan Neil, in the center of the park, Le Bris already has a midfield conundrum. Triantis would never be able to compete with any of them, and he is most likely not of Premier League caliber either.

Triantis will actually need them to miss out on promotion if he is to have any chance of Sunderland in the future. This would undoubtedly result in the sale of any of the previously mentioned assets as well.
