Sunderland is dominating the Championship under Regis Le Bris, and the Black Cats have signed midfielder Enzo Le Fee on loan from Roma.
Wilson Isidor, an attacker for Sunderland, is on loan with a buyout option after playing the entire ninety minutes at Turf Moor.
Although the fee with Zenit St. Petersburg has not yet been finalized, the club plans to try to activate the option.
Additionally, at least one other team has considered snatching Isidor’s contract.
They are said to know how they could achieve it if they wanted to.
The 24-year-old is gaining admirers outside of the Stadium of Light thanks to his performances for Sunderland in the cut and thrust of the Championship.
However, Sunderland is likely to be confident in their ability to retain the former Lokomotiv Moscow player if they advance to the Premier League.
