After suffering an injury while on international service, a Rangers star has already returned to Ibrox. Ross McCausland was called up to play for Northern Ireland against Belarus and Luxembourg in the Nations League this month. He replaced Hearts in the final Premiership match before the November break for international matches, which resulted in a 1-0 victory.
This season, McCausland has made 15appearances and contributed a few goals and an assist. Manager Michael O’Neill stated that there was no possibility of him taking a chance with the Rangers star’s foot issue while previewing his Northern Ireland team’s match against Belarus.
There is a responsibility to engage the crowd [at home], and you do that by playing on the front foot and in the opposition half and also winning the ball back.
“We demonstrated the value of a quick start versus Luxembourg; although we didn’t control the ball, we controlled the game and had a greater chance to win. With the caliber and the opportunities we had, Bulgaria, we got off to a fantastic start. Rangers will face Dundee United at Ibrox, their next Premiership match when they return in eight days.
