What to anticipate from Texans’ Nico Collins Returns Against the Dallas Cowboys

The Houston Texans have suffered two consecutive heartbreaking losses and are now 6-4 on the season. They have experienced three losses in their last four games, including some very close encounters. The team captained by C.J. Stroud has great hopes for the season and needs to overcome their present slump. The Texans’ next game is against the Dallas Cowboys in Jerry’s World, a couple hours north in the DFW. The Lone Star State’s top football squad will be decided by the two teams.

Though for different reasons, both teams are in dire need of this win. While the Cowboys are trying to salvage as much of their season as possible with a 3-6 record, the Texans are looking to show that they are still Super Bowl candidates.

The Cowboys’ season is almost a wash because they will be without starting quarterback Dak Prescott for the rest of it. But the Texans have it all in front of them. Superstar wide receiver Nico Collins is also making a comeback after missing five straight games in Week 10.

What can we anticipate from Collins when he returns? He should obviously be able to change the offense. Since Stefon Diggs suffered a season-ending ACL injury, they have suffered, and Collins is a true superstar. The organization held him out with the larger picture in mind, but he was almost ready to go as they hosted the Detroit Lions. Collins was the league’s top receiver before suffering an injury against the Buffalo Bills in Week 5, so he should be able to get back to his previous level of play shortly. With the sensational wide receiver making a comeback to the football field, there’s no reason why Stroud and Collins shouldn’t connect a few times on Monday Night Football.
