Gary O’Neil has urged his Wolves team to avoid “cheap” yellow cards, as four important players are on the verge of punishment.
To avoid a one-match suspension, Joao Gomes, Nelson Semedo, Rayan Ait-Nouri, and Toti Gomes must all avoid receiving any bookings in the upcoming nine Premier League games. O’Neil has advised prudence because he wants key players available for a critical stretch of the season.
“As always, I tell the players not to get any soft yellow cards, but legitimate ones that you can’t avoid in the modern game, we have to accept,” stated O’Neil.
So we’re at that point. We are powerless to change it.
