The Dallas Cowboys are now feeling frustrated. It was already bubbling following consecutive home defeats to the Baltimore Ravens and New Orleans Saints, and it boiled over following the 47-9 thrashing at the hands of the Detroit Lions before to the bye week. After Sunday night’s 30-24 loss to a similarly struggling San Francisco 49ers team, the feelings are now evident.
Trevon Diggs, the cornerback for the Cowboys, came out of the locker room shortly after the game, still wearing his uniform and pads, to confront a reporter about a social media post that criticized Diggs’ performance. Diggs let the reporter watch his tirade filled with profanity.
Diggs’ off-field display came only 12 days after Jerry Jones similarly went after radio hosts for asking challenging questions that would’ve required Jones to speak on his own shortcomings over the offseason. It’s not far removed from CeeDee Lamb showing emotions mid-game against the Baltimore Ravens last.
