Sad news for wolves fans as wolves suffer injury blow ahead of Man City fixture

Wolves might be without one of their attackers for the visit of Manchester City after the international break.

Prior to Manchester City’s visit a week on Sunday, Wolves are awaiting word on the severity of Hwang Hee-chan’s injury. The attacker sustained an injury while playing for South Korea on international duty.

The 28-year-old, who scored in the 5-1 loss to Man City in May, had to be helped off the field 20 minutes into his nation’s 2-0 victory against Jordan in the World Cup qualifying round due to an ankle injury. Later on, he was saw being wheeled through Seoul airport.

Hwang, who has started in all but one of Wolves’ games this season, is an illustration of the team’s offensive issues. After concluding the previous season as the club’s second-highest scorer in the Premier League with 12 goals, he has not scored in eight games.

Wolves has just earned one point from their first seven league games this season and has yet to achieve a victory. Manager Gary O’Neil is therefore under investigation over his future.

Man City are still concerned about three injuries, excluding Rodri’s season-ending knee injury. Due to a hamstring injury, Kevin De Bruyne has missed the team’s last six games; however, he is anticipated to return for the match against Wolves.

Nathan Ake, who had suffered a hamstring injury during the previous window while playing for the Netherlands, was also ruled out until after this international break. Whether he will be ready for the journey to Molineux is a question mark. Oscar Bobb, on the other hand, is not expected back until December following a leg bone fracture sustained during training in August.

Due to the need for surgery to address the problem, the attacker from Norway will require more time to recover. Prior to England’s loss to Greece on Thursday, Jack Grealish became ill at the training camp. However, he was back in the gym on Friday.

With eight days remaining before they return to Premier League action, Man City has not experienced any further injury scares during this international break.
