Real Madrid hopes to get Kylian Mbappe back for their match against Liverpool despite his injury.

Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappe is expected to miss three weeks of activity, but he should be available for their crucial Champions League match against Liverpool in late November.

This season, Mbappe left Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer to Real Madrid, making it one of the most high-profile transactions of the summer transfer window.

The France international also started the season strongly for his new team. Notwithstanding, Mbappe’s injury forced Real Madrid to substitute him out of their most recent match due to some left leg soreness. According to ESPN, the 25-year-old now appears to be out for three weeks.

This would see Mbappe miss the big game against rivals Atletico Madrid, but it shouldn’t be so long that he’ll miss one of the most high-profile fixtures of this stage of this season’s Champions League.

Mbappe injury doesn’t look too serious for Real Madrid

Liverpool fans might be disappointed that they’ll most likely still have to face a Madrid side with Mbappe in it, though they’ve also surely got enough in their own team to handle the Frenchman.

It also promises to be a great game for the neutral, so we ideally all want to see players like Mbappe getting a run-out.
