Rangers in Copland Road stand update for Hibs clash as supporters given promise
According to a report, Hibs fans who own season tickets in the back of the Copland Road stand have been assured they can go to the game. The Gers will return to Ibrox this weekend when they host the Hibees for league duty after winning the Premier Sports Cup over Dundee on Saturday. However, only the front of the Copland Road stand was used for the Dee clash because the club is still awaiting the required safety certificates to open the stand’s back. It is hoped that it be fixed in time for the Premiership game on Sunday. However, they have given season ticket holders in that area assurances in case that doesn’t materialize.
Club chiefs have guaranteed seats will be made available elsewhere in the stadium in the event their own seats are not ready.
Additionally, they have urged anyone who is unable to attend the game to offer their seats on the seatsub ticket swap, which will aid in lodging ST holders in other locations. Season ticket holders for the Copland Rear have reportedly been informed by Rangers that they are “doing everything we can to get your own seat ready,” according to the Daily Record. An email containing this information also states that “the club will guarantee you a seat elsewhere in the stadium in the event that the Copland Rear is not open for the Hibernian game.” Should this be the case, we will get in touch with you personally and give you a QR code that will allow you to use a different seat. Hibs are still awaiting word on whether they would receive a space reserved for away supporters.
