Tom Brady did not hold back with comment about Cowboys rookie

Tom Brady won accolades on Sunday for his frank remarks made during the New Orleans Saints vs. Dallas Cowboys Week 2 game at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. FOX aired the game, with Brady and Kevin Burkhardt serving as the announcers. Unexpectedly, the Saints crushed the Cowboys 44-19. Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott completed 27 of 39 passes for 293 yards, two interceptions, and a score. One of the interceptions came after a teammate had burnt Prescott.

Cowboys rookie wide receiver Jalen Brooks slipped and fell on an “in” route, and Prescott’s pass was intercepted as a result.

Prescott still had enough faith in Brooks after the interception to pass to him during the Cowboys’ next possession. Burkhardt inquired of Brady whether the seven-time Super Bowl champion would try another pass to the rookie in that particular game as a result of that. “Well, not today. Actually, going back there is not easy. It’s clear that he believes he will act morally, but can he make the play? Can he ultimately go out there and perform? Brady asked.

Fans don’t want to upset the status quo and are accustomed to broadcasters sugarcoating things. Brady, though, does not. He was truthful in his statement. Additionally, spectators were able to witness Brady’s ruthless mindset and get a sense of how the former quarterback for the Patriots and Bucs would have conducted himself throughout a game.
