Steve Clarke has to be under pressure at Scotland after Rangers star decision
On Tuesday, September 3, Steve Clarke, the manager of Scotland, may come under further criticism after adding Connor Barron, a midfielder for Rangers, to his team. The Tartan Army is getting ready for its first international vacation since an unsuccessful summer campaign in the EUROs. In the upcoming weeks, they will play their first Nations League games against Poland and Portugal in the hopes of getting off to a strong start. Barron was called up to the senior team for the first time in the most recent announcement, which has already left some supporters feeling a little let down.
Steve Clarke slammed for Connor Barron call up after Rangers form
The 22-year-old made the move to Ibrox over the summer and put to bed a transfer saga revolving around his departure from Aberdeen.
After Rangers’ form, Steve Clarke came under fire for calling up Connor Barron. During the summer, the 22-year-old relocated to Ibrox, ending the transfer mystery surrounding his exit from Aberdeen.

It just seems to be a desperate move from Clarke to include a player from a struggling Rangers side while the national team is performing poorly itself.
