After an entertaining draw against Forest, Gary O’Neil praises the “wild horses” of Wolves.

Wolves’ first Premier League point of the season came from a thunderbolt in the first half from Jean-Ricner Bellegarde.

Gary O’Neill, the manager of Wolves, called his team “wild horses” following their thrilling 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest. Two minutes after Chris Wood had given Forest the lead, Wolves earned their first Premier League point of the season with a thunderbolt in the first half from Jean-Ricner Belle.

After losing their first two games to Arsenal and Chelsea, Wolves were able to move up out of the bottom three with the point. “What a group we have in terms of entertainment, courage, bravery, and togetherness,” O’Neil remarked. “A tad bit out of control. Some of the choices we make at the conclusion of the game feel like I’m trying to hang on to this wild horse, and then they just fly away.

I attempt to get them back where you need them, which is why I become so passionate on the side. O’Neil questioned some of his players’ decision-making after antagonizingly disputing referee Simon Hooper’s decision to deny Wolves a late penalty when the ball struck Wood’s hand in the box. O’Neil was then booked.

The center half, Yerson Mosquera, performed admirably. I found him to be amazing. But with six minutes remaining in a 1-1 away game, the ball returns to Sam Johnstone, and Yerson sprints up to the right wing to offer Sam a diagonal option, which is absurd, O’Neil remarked. Being in the wrong place at the wrong moment and losing focus. Premier League play is brutal.

We’re hoping that the work we’re doing will help the boys start making wiser decisions. When the ball looked to have struck Jorgen Strand Larsen’s arm in the first half, Wolves also had a penalty request denied. Hooper could have offered it, and O’Neil would have understood, adding that the second occurrence was “definitely penalized.”

How close Simon came to blowing his whistle is an interesting observation. Extremely near his lips,” O’Neil continued, expressing regret for his overreaction. After gaining three points from their opening three games, Forest maintained their unblemished start to the season and now sits ninth.

Nuno Espirito Santo, who has managed his previous team without a loss in three games, acknowledged that he felt “disappointment” and “frustration” following the game. “We looked solid, which is a positive, but there were moments where we could have done better today,” he stated.

We will, in my opinion, begin to gel more quickly and decide on the finishing touches much more effectively as time goes on.

We had times when we could have completed the task more quickly. “In general, I’m not happy. We are upset because we went for three points in the second half and only managed to get one.
