Rangers in Talks for Kasamwirjo Loan Signing
After being quiet about signings for the previous month, Rangers may be forced to make a last-minute deal. Sky Sports journalist Michael Bridge exclusively revealed to GIVEMESPORT that the Light Blues are discussing a loan move for Feyenoord defender Neraysho Kasanwirjo. The Glaswegian team appeared to be headed for the top level under Philippe Clement, who took over in October 2023, but they were once again unable to win the Scottish Premiership title during the previous season. Their success depends on signings, but even if they signed nine new men this summer, they might still have place for one more, as Bridge claims they are in talks with the Eredivise group.
Although Rangers signed Twente star Robin Propper and Brazilian full-back Jefte, they may still need to bolster their defensive line after losing players like Davies, Connor Goldson, and Borna Barisic this summer. This summer has seen a true rebuilding at Ibrox as the team let go of many of its long-serving stalwarts, including Ryan Jack and John Lundstram. However, Clement will understand that the team needs to bring in younger players in order to better prepare for the future.
