After Molineux’s heroics, Noni Madueke apologizes for her remarks on Wolverhampton.

Just a few hours after taking down a social media post regarding the situation in the Midlands city, Madueke scored three goals in Chelsea’s 6-2 victory.

Noni Madueke, the hat-trick hero for Chelsea, has issued an apology after disparaging the city of Wolverhampton on social media prior to his game-winning performance at Molineux.

In the second half of Chelsea’s 6-2 victory over Wolves, the England Under-21 winger scored three goals.

Because of a quickly removed Instagram post in the early hours that included an expletive to characterize the midlands city he was staying in, he was roundly jeered by the home crowd.

“I would like to express my apologies to anyone I may have offended,” he stated in a post-game interview aired on Sky Sports.

“It’s just an accident—a human error. That wasn’t intended to be shared in such a way on my social media. I apologize; I’m sure Wolverhampton is a beautiful town.

Regarding the jeers, I anticipated them, but that’s just a feature of the game. It is necessary for you to be able to perform under such strain.

Enzo Maresca, the Blues manager, claimed he was unaware of the incident as he celebrated his first victory as manager.

In his press conference, Maresca stated, “To be honest, I didn’t know. It was just brought up to me now, but I wasn’t aware of Noni’s social media post during the game. “I think Noni did a tremendous job; he was constantly producing something for the first ten or fifteen minutes of the game, not just in the second half.

I’ve said it from the beginning: he’s the kind of winger I like, and he works really well with us.

The manner he defended for ninety minutes was even more impressive than his hat-trick; it demonstrated all I asked of the team.

I am the type of person that believes that people are grown enough to recognize what is right and wrong, and I trust people in general. Noni is old enough in this instance to determine whether or not what he did was right.

Madueke’s goals, all assisted by Cole Palmer, came during an incredible second-half performance by the Blues, which was topped off by Pedro Neto, a former Wolves player, setting up Joao Felix for a goal on his second club debut. It followed an exciting first half that saw Matheus Cunha level the score for the home team after Nicolas Jackson opened the scoring early. Palmer gave Chelsea a much-needed boost against the flow of play, and Jorgen Strand Larsen gave Wolves a second equalizer. At halftime, Mykhailo Mudryk was substituted with Neto, who had just signed a two-week contract with Wolves.

When asked why he fired Mudryk, Maresca said, “I was not happy.”

I think in some moments we can manage better situations. He was working very hard off the ball and I think that was good.

“In terms of on the ball, I expect more quality from Mudryk but he had some good moments the other day, some today, but another reason was to change and give Pedro (Neto) some minutes.”

Wolves boss Gary O’Neil said: “I was just disappointed.

“It was a crazy game, we gave Chelsea so many good situations from crazy episodes that were so avoidable and we were badly punished. That spell was unrecoverable for us.
