Following the game, the Australian team challenged the Falconets to a penalty shootout, which they won 4-3. The team’s confidence has increased as they get ready for the World Cup thanks to the friendly triumph and the subsequent penalty shootout success. The team’s performance was commended by a Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) official in attendance at the game. “The group is feeling really positive. On Wednesday, September 4, they will play Germany. Then, on Friday, September 5, they will play Venezuela to complete the group stage. Colombia will host the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup in 2024 from August 31 to September 22, which will be the country’s third FIFA tournament and its first time they have hosted a FIFA women’s tournament.
