Wilfried Zaha: The race between Wolves, Crystal Palace, and Leicester is expected to be won by

According to sources who spoke to Football Insider, Leicester City believes they can defeat Crystal Palace in the competition to sign Wilfried Zaha, the star of Galatasaray.

The Foxes are in advanced negotiations with the winger’s representation and are working hard to get the 31-year-old back in the Premier League.

Football Insider disclosed on Monday, August 12, that Galatasaray want full payment of Zaha’s salaries in addition to a multi-million-pound loan fee.

According to reports, the Ivory Coast international skipped a recent game against Hatayspor because he was having discussions about rejoining the Premier League.

Zaha is still wanted by Palace to return to Selhurst Park, but insiders claim their interest is not as strong as Leicester’s. Leicester is certain that they will sign Zaha before Crystal Palace.

As a result, the Foxes are optimistic that they may recruit the former Man United star, giving manager Steve Cooper a significant boost.

As the 2024–25 season draws near, Jamie Vardy and Patson Daka are both dealing with ailments, which makes attacking reinforcements crucial.

Only when his contract with Crystal Palace expired in the summer of 2023 did Zaha sign a free transfer to Galatasaray.

During the previous season, he participated in the Champions League, scored nine goals, and provided three assists in thirty Super Lig games.

The 31-year-old made 305 Premier League appearances, almost all of which came during his second stint with Palace, and recorded 68 goals and 29 assists.
