Prescott and the Cowboys’ playoff woes, most recently exemplified by an embarrassing 48-32 home loss to the Green Bay Packers in the Wild Card, led some to come to the conclusion that Prescott could not be a Super Bowl-winning quarterback and that the Cowboys should not ‘overpay’ for the 31-year-old.
During Dallas training camp, though, Prescott told the media that he feels almost obligated to other NFL players to agree to a large contract deal. Prescott remarked, “I am a guy who grew up with two older brothers.” “You comprehend the meaning of brotherhood, not just for our squad but also for the NFL’s and players’ fraternity. There is money to be made, and it is possible. It is feasible. Everything can be made to work in both directions.
