With claims of availability, Wolves take a loan pair from Stoke City to the United States, including Ki-Jana Hoever.

Ki-Jana Hoever and Luke Cundle are in Florida for a training camp with the Wolves, where there are rumors circulating about Hoever’s potential transfer.

Hoever, a 22-year-old right-back with potential, has spent the last 1.5 seasons on loan at Stoke City, especially when it comes to attacking.

He is the only Stoke player with more goals scored in that period, which may also indicate a lot about the work Stoke needs to do this summer to strengthen their forward line.

Before returning to the bet365 Stadium in 2023, he inked a five-year contract with Wolves. However, with the high-profile acquisition of Pedro Lima, an 18-year-old from Sport Recife, his prospects of making an impact as a first team member in the Premier League appear diminished. Nelson Semedo and Matt Doherty have been used by Gary O’Neil in that capacity.

Rumor has it that “talks between Twente and the agent are ongoing” and that FC Twente has accepted an offer from his agent.

Twente has been experimenting with Youri Regeer, a recent acquisition, as a converted midfielder to take Joshua Brenet’s spot at right back since he departed the team. Alfons Sampsted, a defender from Iceland, is also signed.

Hoever and Cundle are being given the chance to try to gain favor with Gary O’Neil in Fort Lauderdale. They are scheduled to play friendlies with RB Leipzig, Crystal Palace, and West Ham.

This season, Junior Tchamadeu has the opportunity to establish himself as Steven Schumacher’s first choice at right back. Lynden Gooch has been played on the left wing in the last two friendlies, but Mehdi Leris has also been tested out in that role.

On Saturday at 2pm, Stoke will play a friendly against Stockport County as part of their pre-season preparations.
