After his loan move to Norwich City was denied, Hugo Bueno has now made his position on Wolves’ future quite apparent.

A prominent player for the Wolves has given his predictions for the 2024–2025 season following a challenging season under Gary O’Neil. Wolves’ 2023–24 season was good, and they are currently putting in a lot of preseason work to get better in 2024–25.

Arriving many days ahead of last term, Gary O’Neil immediately demonstrated that he is the ideal candidate for the position by drawing out the best performance from numerous players.

Hugo Bueno fell down the manager’s priority list, thus unfortunately, the season at Molineux wasn’t very memorable for the entire team.

Hugo Bueno is ready for the difficulties of 2024–2025 at Wolves when his loan from Norwich City is denied.

It appeared as though Bueno was going to establish himself as a regular first-team member at Wolves under Julen Lopetegui, for the 2022–2023 season.

But O’Neil reorganized his back line, and the 21-year-old’s claim to the starting XI vanished along with the Spaniard.

Speaking with Express & Star, Bueno said that his chances of getting playing time the previous season were negatively impacted by the manager’s choice to go to a back five.

We switched to a back five last season, and occasionally you have to adjust quickly. Last season, we started with a back four, and I felt incredibly comfortable.

“Hopefully, this new season will allow me to spend more time with the coaches and learn more about what they desire.” Bueno’s season was limited to just seven Premier League starts due to injuries and greater competition, which sparked attention this summer.

According to Birmingham World, Wolves are thought to have turned down a loan offer from Norwich City, a Championship team, since Bueno is fully focused on the upcoming season at Molineux.

Bueno anticipates the upcoming season under Gary O’Neil. Bueno almost confirmed that he will be at the team for the next season by highlighting his motivation ahead of 2024–25, following links away from Wolves. “I’m very excited and motivated for the upcoming season. We’ll see what transpires.” “One quality I have is that I can always find the drive to succeed.

No matter what condition I’m in, accidents and setbacks do occur occasionally. However, I really believe that everything occurs for a reason, and I make a constant effort to maintain my motivation.

The most essential things are to perform well, gain more opportunities, and keep getting better. The £10k-per-week Spaniard then received a “crazy” reminder that he is currently the club’s longest-serving player. “It’s my sixth year at the club, and I can honestly say that time flies.”

I was talking to Pablo the other day about how I am the player who has been with the team the longest, and to be honest, it’s ridiculous since it seems like I just moved here yesterday.

“It’s been amazing, and I’m excitedly getting ready for the season.” It is evident that Bueno’s primary concern as preseason gets underway is getting into O’Neil’s starting lineup, despite the challenges he encountered the previous season and the links he had to break away from Wolves this summer.
