Liam Keen’s perspective of the first day of the Wolves’ preseason trip to America

After arriving in the United States, wolves are undergoing rigorous training.

After arriving on Tuesday afternoon, Gary O’Neil, his coaches, and his players began practicing in the extreme heat at Inter Miami’s Florida Blue practicing Center by Wednesday morning.

The Express & Star was present as the Wolves players were put to the test during their first US training session, where they were enjoying the sun close to Chase Stadium.

The players were pushed through their paces in anticipation of the upcoming Premier League season, even though it was nominally a light practice after the team’s exhausting travel from London.

Before beginning some dynamic running drills, the players engaged in some jogging and stretching warm-ups with the aim of getting them moving.

After the players had the ball at their feet, they conducted some small-group possession-retention drills in a short area, which required them to make quick judgments with the ball in a limited amount of time or space.

They focused on shape and working the ball through the thirds in some team-related drills that came after that.
