Rangers to launch move to sign “exciting” £15m talent

Rangers eye move for Championship winger
According to journalist Pete O’Rourke, Rangers are “readying a new move” to sign Morgan Whittaker from Plymouth Argyle this summer.
In January 2023, Michael Beale had an offer rejected by Swansea City, then his parent club, for the English winger, but it now looks as though interest has been reignited.
The Light Blues are in desperate need of some quality on the wings, and Whittaker, who is reportedly asking for £15 million, would undoubtedly provide Clement with more width.

Beale may have endured a torrid ten-month spell in the Ibrox hot seat, but he did make a few decent signings, Cantwell among them.
The former Norwich City star has made 64 appearances for the team since moving to Scotland eighteen months ago, contributing 12 assists and 14 goals. Whittaker might provide the team with goals from wide areas, something they struggled with in the previous campaign. Whittaker scored an incredible 20 goals for Plymouth in all competitions during the previous season. He has provided nine more assists, demonstrating his frightening threat on the right wing.
With six goals, Rabbi Matondo became the highest-scoring winger of the previous season, surpassing Abdallah Sima’s record of sixteen. It’s obvious that this won’t cut it for the upcoming season.
