Philippe Clement could find himself in ‘trouble’ at Rangers amid Ibrox transfer update

Dan Bardell thinks Rangers should wait to bring in new players since Philippe Clement’s future may not be secure. Stevie Clifford stated in a July 13 Rangers Review piece that the Gers will finish off a lot of business before the transfer window closes. “Offered reassurances” by sources close to the club that fresh acquisitions are on the way, he added, adding that they “can’t come soon enough.” Journalist Bardell from Sky Sports and talkSPORT has speculated that the Light Blues could wait in the window since he is uncertain about Clement’s future. Bardell, in an exclusive interview with Ibrox News, stated: “It’s obvious that Rangers do need a little rebuild in order to move forward.

“Everything relies on the manager’s level of authority over transfers within the hierarchy. After last season, Clement will be in some difficulty if he has a poor start to the upcoming season. “After finishing second best once more, I believe a makeover is necessary. The manager will want to make certain adjustments and enhancements in his own style.

“It’ll depend on how far Rangers want to push that and how sure they are that he’s going to be there for the long term.“

Rangers unsure on Philippe Clement
The Gers have already made plenty of signings, this early in the transfer window, with the likes of Connor Barron and Hamza Igamane coming in.

With that being said, Clement is yet to be afforded much transfer budget with the Moroccan being the largest outlay so far.

There have been connections to Sevilla’s Joan Jordan, for example, but that arrangement is probably a loan rather than a long-term one. Joan Jordan Joan Jordan is wanted by the Rangers. There is a possibility that Clement’s financial support from the Rangers leadership is questionable, which might indicate that his future at Ibrox is uncertain.
