Torino will hold discussions with Scotland striker Che Adams, who Wolves are interested in

To compete with Wolves, Torino has been in contact with Che Adams in an attempt to sign the Scotland striker on a free transfer.

After his contract with Southampton expired, the 28-year-old, who played in all three of Scotland’s games at the 2016 European Championship, is currently free to sign with any team. He spent five years at Saint Mary’s.

Che Adams has been a target for Wolves for some time now; the club had made an approach for the striker last summer, but Southampton turned down their £18 million proposal.

Currently on vacation in Italy, the 28-year-old is giving his future some thought. Che Adams is what Torino wants.

Che Adams has asked for a fixed €2 million net per season plus add-ons, which Torino has not offered, according to information on page nine of today’s Tuttosport.

The Italian side, on the other hand, has suggested a smaller fixed sum with substantial bonuses that are based on goals and performances.

While Wolves wait for a response to their bid, the Scotland striker is thinking about his options after being tempted to move to Serie A.
