Wolves intends to pursue another Brazilian wonderkid, but Spurs and Newcastle, two fierce rivals in the Premier League, will not be backing them.
Wolves has gladly ventured into the South American market in recent years.O’Neil’s team has a strong Brazilian presence, and many of the club’s top stars currently hail from the continent.
Three Brazilians have been added by Wolves in the last 18 months. The first was Matheus Cunha, who is currently being predicted to take over as captain. Joao Gomes, a regular fixture in the starting lineup, trailed the assailant. Pedro Lima joined Wolves this summer.
Despite only being 18 years old, the full-back is widely considered to be a phenomenal upcoming talent. According to reports, Wolves is interested in signing Marcus Vinnicius, a young Brazilian player, this summer and is hoping to add another.
There is rivalry for Marcus Vinnicius to join the Wolves. Vinnicius is now a trader with Palmeiras in Brazil. The Sao Paulo-based team has developed into one of the top producers of elite football players throughout the years.
Recently, Luis Guilherme joined West Ham, Estevao Willian joined Chelsea, and Endrick, an attacker for Real Madrid, joined the Spanish powerhouse.
Currently, it appears that the team has developed their next great star. The Sun claims that a number of teams, including Wolves, are interested in signing Vinnicius. This summer, Palmeiras will sign the 17-year-old, who can also play on the wing, to a one-year contract.
His deal is anticipated to include a release clause of £85 million. Palmerias, though, are willing to work out a settlement. Benfica, Newcastle, and Spurs are among the teams vying for the Brazilian’s signature, so Wolves will also have competition.
Wolves is a self-sustaining organization, thus they can’t afford to spend an additional £30 million on a rookie.
