Cyriel Dessers Rangers departure downplayed
It appears that Dessers is facing the exit door at Rangers despite a fairly positive debut campaign in the Scottish Premiership.

With that being said, the Nigerian striker managed to impose himself in Glasgow and take the mantle as the Gers’ main number nine.

Things could have been different if Danilo had been able to stay fit throughout the season after suffering an injury that cut short his campaign. This summer, Philippe Clement has already invested in Hamza Igamane, an unknown quantity from Morocco.

Links to Lawrence Shankland have persisted this summer, so it appears that he may be making the move to Ibrox. Dessers had a good season, and letting him depart so early in his Ibrox career could be an expensive mistake.
