Four rival Premier League clubs are interested in signing Joao Gomes, a sensational midfield player for Wolves, but Tottenham wants him.

Gomes joined Wolves in the winter of 2023 in a £15 million deal after rising through the ranks at Flamengo and establishing himself as a member of their first squad. Since then, he hasn’t looked back.

Due to his reliable performances for both club and country, he is being pursued by several elite Premier League clubs. As they try to bolster their midfield, Tottenham is reportedly keen on signing Gomes this summer and admires him, according to a report from GIVEMESPORT.

The 23-year-old Brazilian midfielder is being watched closely by Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, and Manchester United, so they are not the only English team interested in him.

The Wolves star’s availability has already been questioned by Arsenal and City, while Manchester United and Liverpool view him as a younger option to Wataru Endo and as a possible Casemiro replacement.

Regarding the young player, Spurs are pleased with what they observed throughout his first full season in the English Premier League.

Given the likelihood of Pierre-Emile Højbjerg and Giovani Lo Celso leaving, they believe Gomes would be a great addition.

When called upon, he can even play a more advanced role in addition to providing defensive firmness.

After cashing in on captain Max Kilman earlier this month, Wolves are not in a haste to approve Gomes’ exit, and only an incredible offer will be able to lure him away from the team.

The Spurs target is presently valued at £60 million, and Molineux staff members have not yet received a formal offer for his services.
